Evoleen

Evoleen drives the digital healthcare revolution by creating built-to-buy start-ups in close collaboration with global corporate partners. Evoleeners are entrepreneurs-at-heart. We take ownership for the realization of our start-ups and share both risks and returns with our partners. At Evoleen, you will be joining a team of highly motivated entrepreneurs that maintains a can-do culture marked by passion, honesty, and a love of good coffee.

We are looking for someone exceptional who is driven to make a real impact on the healthcare environment across the globe, who is excited to join a start-up company and to play an active role in shaping a start-up and its ecosystem, and someone who understands this sector and who is willing to fully immerse themselves in the product.

Senior Project Manager

We're seeking a Senior Manager to lead the creation of a new venture focused on developing connectivity devices for injection pens.

You will oversee all product development activities from inception, working directly with clients to understand their needs and create a solution that meets their vision, requirements, and regulatory standards.

To be successful, you need to be able to manage a variety of interfaces (technically and personally). You need to have a detailed technical understanding of electronics, firmware, mechanics, injection molding and production processes. Since it is hard to understand all topics equally well, you need to bring a good mix and be willing to learn and sweat the details.

We are looking for someone who is willing to go into uncharted territory, for whom the experience of the journey matters more than following a pre-planned path. We are looking for someone who can turn undefined situations into defined ones and who thrives in a team of like-minded people, rather than working alone and doing things by the book.

  • Engage directly with clients to identify their needs and ensure solutions align with their expectations and regulatory standards.
  • Play a crucial role in managing projects, working with both internal and external teams based on project requirements.
  • Maintain a strong hands-on approach, effectively balancing project management with active execution.
  • Identification and definition of customer requirements.
  • Definition of the product’s architecture.
  • Building the initial tech team and growing it as required.
  • Leading the project through prototyping until market launch.
  • Driving and continuously developing the project’s roadmap

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in electronics, software, and mechanics.
  • Proven track record in providing manufacturing support for high-tech products.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory approval processes for medical products.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary product development teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in client engagement and requirements analysis for technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate project requirements, status updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to balance hands-on project execution with high-level project management.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the medical device industry.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and market dynamics in the fast-paced environment of a healthcare startup.
  • Desire to sweat the small stuff.
  • Regularly travel to meet suppliers and visit our head office in Switzerland.

Attitude & Motivation

  • You are highly motivated, and you have a real drive to succeed and make things happen.
  • You enjoy working independently and outside of your comfort zone.
  • You are a strategic mind and you have the capability to identify and seize opportunity.
  • You are a good communicator and you want to have fun at work.
  • Ability and willingness to dive into unknown topics and acquire the skills to deliver what’s needed.

What we offer

  • Full-time or part-time (80%) contract.
  • Munich based workplace in an enthusiastic flatland team.

In a nutshell, we are looking for hunger, excellence and awesomeness. You are fearless, and humble. You will walk through walls, and your hair will still look sexy right afterwards. If that’s you, we are looking forward to talking to you soon!
